Thank you Janet for your kind information.Mummies/Vanilla Cake,
I managed to get the Creative Vocabulary from Popular IMM just now. If you wish to get it, please do so in case stock runs out...do note, this assessment book is not placed on the shelves but placed on the open racks at the Eng assessment books section.
BTW, how you find the book ? -

Vocab really higher order...not the norm you would find in assessment books. Will get son to try it after his SA2 this year...preparation for PSLE.

I'm exposed to so many P6 books of late...getting scared just thinking of son in P6. As it is, his Chinese and Science are much tougher. Have not touched his Eng yet. -

Now I also realize we have many P6 Books on hand which some we bought and some given by my nephew. No sure what school will recommend next month again? Now left with 2 weeks and main focus will be on CL compo. (The lowest mark of all subject last year) and new topics of Maths like speed etc. and continuous the reading of Science open and end questions. -

VERY VERY KIASU...bought quite a bit of P5 English assessment books earlier this year...each book has about 6-7 revision exercises. So will start him in the last week of Dec on comprehension. My son's 作文 also the lowest. His new tutor will return after Christmas and will start tuition. Cannot waste time.
Thank you.janet_lee88:

I remember you have several P6 books from your nephew. Can start doing some of them. -

Hi Janet, thank you for remember that. We had used a few Science Assessment Books for revision when preparing the P5 Science SA2 Exam. We had started P6 CA1 papers for all the 4 subjects’ weeks ago and now slow down the speed and touch on some new topics of Maths and especially CL compo. which needs time to improve the quality of writing.

Since your nephew passed you the books, they are very 'current' and appropriate for use. BTW, has your child's Science teacher finished most of the syllabus in P5 ?

Upper block 'System' topic is not easy...thought Systems, Cycles and maybe another topic will be taught at P5. -
janet_lee88:
P5 usually will cover major topcis of Cycles and System.Wow  That's really tough.
Upper block 'System' topic is not easy...thought Systems, Cycles and maybe another topic will be taught at P5.
System include :
System in Living Things
Cells
Electical System
Quite a numbers of new words on Cells need to remember as well as their function.
Cycles include
Water
Reproduction in Plants
Sexual Reproduction in Human
As for P6, will be Interactions and Energy. -
Brenda10:
BTW, how you find the book ?
May I barge in here ? I find the section on confusing pairs valuable. Some of them have been touched on by TAS in various threads in this forum.Brenda10:
This is covered at P5 ?! I remember I studied this in Secondary 1 ! :!:Sexual Reproduction in Human
