Many schools as we want but does that affect our chances ofbeing accepted to our dream school via appeal? Say my Ds wants to go to hci and we appeal to both hci and njc, will hci "know " that we have also appealed to other schools and therefore rejects my son’s appeal? -

For HCI, since you did not place it as your top choice, you are out. Try NJC instead. Schools do not know how many appeals you are undertaking.
Prepare a dam good reason why NJC should accept your appeal. -

Nan Hua is my 2nd choice. my son got 238 in PSLE, is it possible to appeal?

just call RGS and was told that the appealing result will be released by today.

Afterall, they do not go about to encourage student to put HCI as the first choice for no reason. Of course the student in question is one who is clearly way way way way above the COP...then situation is diff la. -

From what I gather if you miss the COP and want to appeal, it has to be your first choice and same in other schools. Else it will be their low priority and whatever reason you are going to give may not sound very convincing. But why not NJC leh?INNOVATE:

BTW, now that the results are out and COP etc are beginning to surface…is it wise to call the school on the outcome of the appeal if we have already submitted way way way way back??

I called the school and was told earliest is next week. I submitted my appeal on PSLE results day and I assume they would have done some processing. My son also meets the COP. Not sure why they take so long to process. -
That is the difficult part , ie on the reasons. I am not Gd in writing this type of stuff, also should it be focused more on what my son can offer the school? If yes, then die Liao cause he has no good CCas or talents. Is it true that we have no chance at all to appeal to hci since we didn’t put it as a first choice?
