      JonC:
MS Phase 2C left 95 and 104 apply, so there is ballot.

But I do not have info about 1km or 1km to 2km or 2km ballot.
      thanks for the reply.
since the difference is 9, i will assume balloting was for either 1-2km or outside 2km. quite likely 1km no need ballot.

The ballot was for 1-2km in phase 2C. There was no balloting for within 1 km.

Hi, i am v keen to enrol my gal of 5years old in CHIJ Toa Payoh for P1 registration in 2011.

Is there any PV to be done ?
          Pls advise
From what I understand, there is no PV for CHIJ TP. PV is open to parents whose daughters are already in the school.

but i m not keen on st gabe becos of the academic perf leh

Since your hubby is old boy, register and confirm a place under 2A2 first. Your stress level will be much lower after that. If you're still keen in MS, then monitor the situation on the last day of 2C registration...once confirmed balloting is not required for those staying within 1km, then you can withdraw and register. It's hard to tell how P1 registration is going to be, with many new citizens and PRs now.

I vaguely remember for MS Phase 2C balloting is for 1 to 2 km for 57 students for 48 spaces (agak agak)

Any parents have done volunteer in Pei Chun School ? Can share with me your experiences.

Tell me more about Pei Chun School? How are the teachers? Are they committed? What are their strength and weekness? What subjects are they good at?

Funny... talked abt this recently... abt parents' expectations on schs and teachers in general... cos' the sch and teachers also have their own expectations on the students and parents...

Btw, you may need to prepare above answers if you're going for PV interviews...

They must be getting swamped with 2 many enquiries... at least they r more upfront on the PV registration timeline now... have to start registering for PV before your child is 4 yrs old....
