Just share some experiences here after 2 consecutive yesrs of visiting school open houses (OHs):
1. Visit the schools over the period of minimum two years…meaning you need to take note of the school since your child/children in P5 (at least)
2. Check the schools’ vital statistics in MOE website
3. Note down the open house dates; normally during school term break. RGS and NYGH usually holds OH during May period. So does RI. Cedar Girls OH usually right after PSLE results. Always double check and visit KSP forum always.
4. Always visit the shool OH with your daughters or sons. Their first impression count most…if they are in P5 then they will work harder if they like the school.
5. You can also visit school CCA days (sometimes they are organised differently). In these events, you can speak to students directly.
