was surprised to learn that nearest parking is at serangoon ctl!

hi cherrygal, bigfoot, - just curious, did u consider SJI, since it was also balloting only for out of 2km for sji at phase 2b? also cath sch, boy sch, and even IP. except its not sap sch.

        thot IP sch even better?
but it has 4 feeder sch and so competition for sji independent (sec section) will be higher.

how is sji vs maris? academically n other areas?

          Bigfoot

Are you still gonna move? I'd buy Braddell area if I were you. Just one road straight down to MSH.

As for me, I still have to decide which school I want my DD in before I look for a house to move to.

Not planning to. We love Bishan too much. After living in Bishan for a while, we realise there is no other places better. 🙂

I was hoping for a daughter for my 3rd child (if my DW agrees!). If that really happen, then I may have another big headache. But I'd say that is a happy problem for me. Haha!

Hi bigfoot, just wondering - how old is your ds2? I have 2 younger boys (2007 and 2008) - wondering if our subsequent boys would be same level also - like ds1! 😉

Hi 24hr-mum, based on a fren feedback - standard at MSH is slightly higher on average + chinese at CL1 - but of cos there are also smart boys at SJIJ.

If i recall this fren correctly, generally only about 1.5 to 2 sjij classes will make it to sji (sec). I cant confirm this fact though - based on hearsay.

I did think of SJIJ but I baulked at having to endure the jam along Thomson Rd in the mornings. The distance is about the same. I also wanted my boy to try CL1. Didn't think about the IP school part but my target is RI... hahaha

dunno if i shd move or just risk the balloting for chs and maris.

both need ballot, unless within 1km or 1-2 km of maris i suppose

stimes i just think, aiya, let Him decide.
