I know of 1 mainstream boy who scored 263 and already successfully appealed to RI. He was also DSA-ed into another IP school previously.

Have received call from RI yesterday about appeal success. I think you should call them to ask. There are some people reqiured to take GAT today. They are processing last batch. If I'm not wrong they have approved all GEP boys who DSAed into another school and scored 260 and above.

Just call and was told that the result will be out by 29 Dec (standard reply per website info) and did not indicate there is another way to check...

Hi my friend reported with her DD today to the school but feels that it's very far. Can she still appeal to another school tomorrow? The school she's appealing to is the 4th choice while the one she's posted to is 3rd.

He got into Catholic High.

If we want to appeal for RV tomorrow, must he also report to Catholic High also?

Can anyone tell me what documents we should bring for appeal?
Must have teacher's recommendation letter?
Or can we write our own recommendation letter regarding his achievements?

My child has 250+2 with 2A and 2A*. She's planning to appeal to NJC. Does she really need to put NJC as first choice, she missed last yr's COP by 7 points. Icalled NJC, ,they only have 190 places left Anyone understand how the system works?

I assume students are all placed in a straight line starting from the top student first choice school.
Am i right to say, all will be given first choice school first if they meet the COP. Then all the remaining student who missed by first choice will be lined in straight line again to check if their second choice school still have vacancy?

REALLY NEEDED ADVICE AS SHE HAS DONE S1 OPTION. Understand still have chance to alter. She has placed
1. RVH
2. NJC
3 St Nick

some of my classmates are appeal students but they only missed nj's cut-off point by 2-3 marks

hi white_shimmer same here i got 249+3 got into st nic. you have to get your appeal form from rvhs and you are required to bring documents they are photocopies of psle results/posting memo p5 & p6 school results CCA records. no need recommendation letter hope this will help you in your appeal process good luck(this piece info is from the rv appeal form) btw form must be handed in before 24th of december 2010 12 nn

Same case with my daughter. My daughter appealed to RV. We are praying very hard and hopely can success.

think someone mentioned in RV thread that they counted 398 names on noticeboard or registration day. usual intake is 400 unless they have increased for 2011.
