Thanks parents. Another question - do u throw the school shirt in the washing machine together with the metal buttons, or have to remove them each time?

The quality of the rings look like 'rust-proof\" and ring size 'small'. So for now we'll just let the rings 'stay'. Just put the shirt with the rings intact into the laundry bag and wash. If DS complains of any discomfort or rings show signs of rustiness, than swop rings with buttons etc. Just relax.

Actually the rings not really \"rust proof\". My ds1 shirt, I sewed 4 buttons and put rings for 3 of them. After abuse in the washing machine, or rather the buttons abuse my machine several times, the buttons are ok but the shirt got rust stains. Checked and found that it's the rings.

Laundry bag, laundry bag - get those mesh ones with the very close weave so no big holes in the mesh for the buttons to go through.

              Thanks Meiah & Phankao!

Thanks for your input. Yes we have the close knitted mesh-type laundry bag. Think it's the collar that gets dirty and needs scrubbing, other than that it should be alright to drop the shirt into the washing machine. It's count down to 4 Jan 2011.

Merry X'mas & a Happy holiday season to all!!!! :celebrate: :celebrate: May all kiasuparents be Happy, healthy & may some of your dreams (at least one la....not so kiasu or greedy) be fulfilled in the NEW YEAR. 🙏

Hi, I am a new user to this forum. My boy is going to P1 next year. We are facing some transportation issue as we are staying in tiong bahru. We have checked with the school bus n were told that the pick up time is 6 a.m. That’s really too early. We are thinking of making taxi arrangement but no cabbie seems to be keen. I have read from this forum that there is someone staying at bukit merah area n will like to find out if you have resolved your transport issue… Thank you

                        Hi need some advice…

Is it a norm for school bus charge to be $170+ from balestier to catholic high (two-way)?
