Any P3 parents out there ? Was looking at the booklist & not sure if we are to get the textbook or activity book for Science..... any idea?

This may be abit tricky. 2 years back, students were told to purchase the entire set (at least for the lower blocks of P3/4) of Science text/workbooks. My DD1's class teacher used them quite extensively, but when it was passed down to DD2 last year, his Science teacher did not quite use them often. Heard from other classes' parents their kids didn't use at all! However, if parents do not purchase (or wait till school commences), the books might not be readily available (especially the workbooks). If I were you, I will still get them first (maybe for use of T1 & 2 i.e. Diversity set of text/workbook/test etc).

Hi, I am totally new to this forum, hence still trying to figure out how to use it.

Juz wander does anyone of roughly know the profile of the students of RVPS? I mean such as how many percent are within 1 km, and then 2 km. Well, I mean from the add, I mean most students shld be living in RV itself.

On the other hand, Fairfield Methodist Pri is another good school. If we put they together, how do we gauge?

        Thanks

            Hi Shandee,
            I know dismissal for P1 is 6.30pm.
            School start time is correct.

For P1 the kids needs time to settle down so I wouldn’t suggest you bring too much things. Maybe the school diary, a story book and stationery will do. The teachers will let the children know what is to be brought and kept in school. They will get the kids to write down on the school diary. So please check with your DS and DD.

Hi, Raynreg's suggestion would suffice. If you think this will make the schoolbag too light for your comfort, add in 2 single-line and 2 squared exercise books. The most important items I feel are the school handbook and stationery. As mentioned, teachers will staple notes of required stuff to bring in their handbook. Check their handbook daily, and faithfully, esp in Term 1.

                        Hope this helps 😄
