What to bring on the first day at school
-
In the absence of a class time table, does your dd/ds bring all her/his books to school on the first day of the new school term? If not, how do you decide which books to bring? TIA.

My gal will be going to P1 next year…just received a letter from her school regarding the books to bring. She is to bring all the ‘A’ books to school. I’ve labelled everything as required…from books to files to stationery.

I’m clueless on what to bring also. There is no mention during orientation and next Tues school reopens liao. Should I call the school to check? :!:

U may want to follow parentof3's suggestion.
parentof3:
Bring all the A workbooks and some single line and square exercise books. Teacher may want to collect the workbooks. Some schools collect on 2nd day.

Her orientation booklet said to bring 2 single-line exercise books (Eng/Math), 2 big square exercise books for MT. Then bring just the 'A' activity/workbooks. I've labelled everything, just in case. School even mentioned to label stationery. -
:thankyou:
Feel like sotong parents now...will pack her bag tonight! -

During my son's orientation, we were briefed by the principal to bring the following :Hi,
As my daughter will be attending her first day at school P1 tomorrow, I am really lost as to what are the things I need to pack up for her?
does she need to bring ALL the books?
What else?
Thx.
1) 3 sharpened pencils
2) an eraser
3) 1 story book
But it may not be the same for different schools. -
