my friend score 222 and appealed for Yishun Town Secondary School(COP of 235)she does not have any talent and does not have a CCA. she went for an interview three days ago and the principal says that if there is vancacy,he will give it to her and she says that she is confident of entering that school. they inform u via email? in any case, don 't be sad. as mentioned, HCI is v good too. btw, do u know if RI accepted many appeal cases and majority from students posted to what schools originally? u may not know all these but just want to have a sense…

Welcome to HCI. my DS is one of them involved in organizing the Orientation program. The seniors have put in alot of effort to make sure the orientation camp is a fun and enjoyable one. Cheers!

the school website says result known by 29 Dec ..... unless the school says no more....but how come some 263 were in ? because of different performance in GAT ?

I feel that all schools should process all appeals and inform outcome by 31 Dec if not by latest 3 Jan 11. Definitely not into school reopening!


Hats off to schools which are upfront and state the deadline - definite and transparent. This is what some schools which do not want to commit deadline should learn from.

Of course I understand that there may be many forms to process, but who in Singapore has not work overtime to clear workloads or to meet deadline? Imagine the anxiety of a 12 year old reporting to a school on the first day without knowing whether this is the sch he/she will stay… pls spare our kids from these… appealing to a school is stressful enough but pls at least let the kids know the outcome (positive or negative) before they go to a new evironment.
