Any idea what do the kids do at the student care centre? Are they properly supervised? Will there be centre staff that pick the children to/fro school?

There is routine schedule for the kids.

7 - 8am - Kids are expected to read 2 books. One English & one Chinese.
        8 - 9am - Breakfast
9 - 10am - Teacher will teach and give assessments to do
        - Activity
        10 - 11am - Bath Time
        11 - 12pm - Lunch
12pm - Teacher will gather all P1 & 2 kids together and bring them to
        CF.

        * Child is expected to finish their school homework at home. If under unforeseen circumstances, the child cannot finish at home, need to inform teacher. The child will not have any activity for that day and he will use that timing to finish his/her school homework.

        * Teacher will only correct the assessment given to the child from the centre. Any other assessments not given by the centre will not be corrected by the teacher in the centre.

        * Friday will be no assessment day. The teacher will bring the kids for outing. (For P3 - P6 kids only). Not relevant to P1 & 2.

Are you talking about the Our Lady Star of the Sea BASC? Few years back I sent 2 of my kids there when I don't have a maid. I find the BASC is over crowded and noisy at time especially during school holidays. The kids there are also very rowdy. Not sure how's the situation now.

              Jo,

There are 3 Mr Lims in the Staff list. Dunno which is the one…

Another week to go before school re-opens. How long will you stay in the school premise on the first few days of school?

As long as possible....... I think we need to bring Oral Digital Thermometer to school.

                      Jojo,

I read the CF website. It was stated that temperature taking will take place on 7 Jan 2011.

I think the school will give each pupil a thermometer? Because during the orientation, it was not notified that we have to get a thermometer for the child.
