Bus 855 (comes from yishun, so it depends on which part of yck you are), or bus 163.

(A) Stop after the petrol station if taking 855 to change to bus 74 or 852.

(B) Stop at MacRitchie (right after Mt Alvernia Hospital) if taking 163.
Then change to bus: 74, 852, 157.

(C) There's also a bus 156 that goes directly to njc if you are around the sengkang/serangoon side of yio chu kang rd.

For (A) & (B), can reach school in 30mins if you leave home at 6+am. Later than that, you get caught in jam. It's the same if your parents drive too! Driving should try to leave before 6.30am.

I don't know about (C).

Thanks![/quote]Oops - i just realised i got the directions wrong. 163, you should stop after the SHELL petrol station along thomson road (it's next to the Bishan Fire STation) , because after that, it turns into Bradell road and goes to toa payoh! So you should change to bus 74 or 852 at that bus stop.

relatively okay but you must your own manage time... most importantly is to pay attention to classes and the lectures and take notes because most information are not in the given notes (esp for integrated sciences).

Hey, i'm from a neighbourhood school and am thinkingof joining the ip to get into njc, vjc, or nanyanghigh. But I'm not sure if I can, do neighborhood school students have a lesser chance of succeeding in joining the IP? :?

No worries at all. My DS is from a neighbourhood pri sch too. His school is next to our house. He worked hard and scored 265 and entered a IP sch. Stay focus and work hard !!! Always remember this ! Parents can do all sorts of tings to get kids into popular Pri Sch but only good PSLE result can get them into good Sec Sch.

NJC only takes in at year 1 & year 5 (for jc) now.
