For P1 the kids needs time to settle down so I wouldn’t suggest you bring too much things. Maybe the school diary, a story book and stationery will do. The teachers will let the children know what is to be brought and kept in school. They will get the kids to write down on the school diary. So please check with your DS and DD.

Hi, Raynreg's suggestion would suffice. If you think this will make the schoolbag too light for your comfort, add in 2 single-line and 2 squared exercise books. The most important items I feel are the school handbook and stationery. As mentioned, teachers will staple notes of required stuff to bring in their handbook. Check their handbook daily, and faithfully, esp in Term 1.

Still haven't done much to prepare for the 1st day. Just finished washing all her new uniform. Haven't even bought the school handbook yet :oops:. Didn't buy any new stationary for her either. Guess will just use her old ones from kindergarten. Do they need to wear the white tennis shoes to school every day?

wat time is the recess? wld parents be allowed to enter the sch during recess & watch (sideline) ?

not sure about the recess time. i heard we can stay in the school for the first 2 days though. are you guys planning to do that?
