Is there filter for Rainbow? Doubt it has been changed. Recently, a guy who claimed to be with the Rainbow company came to do a demo and cleaning of our rainbow. He opened it up and told my fil tt ours is very well-maintained even though 15 yrs already. He did a simply cleaning. A few days later, another guy came to check if the 1st guy took our rainbow back to factory to do cleaning. I don't mind actually, if the servicing helps in the efficiency. However, they are not coordinating and it sounds a little strange. I've got the no. but have not called them up.

The irobot is not able to vacuum corners...I still believe in my karcher once a week. The irobot vacuums the areas which we walk on...have to close 2 eyes lah.

Are you using karcher that can vacuum and steam at the same time? If I am not wrong, is it SV1902? I am considering to get a karcher vacuum. I just wonder, is this model very heavy and difficult to use? Otherwise, it looks good as can vacuum and steam together.. save time.. :)). Thx ya!

My karcher is the water-based vacuum cleaner. It's not the model you mentioned. The downside is the vacuum cleaner is rather heavy...but it does a great job and I don't have any more sneezing since dust/hair goes straight into the water...good workout too and really shiok.

I’m also maidless and a FTWM. But I have a messy husband. My husband likes to empty his pockets on the dining table whenever he comes home, and stuff ranges from tissue paper to coins etc. So after a few days, I’ll see a few packets of tissue paper on the table. For letters, like credit card bills etc, he’ll open the letter, take out the bill, and leave the envelopes and promotion booklets on the table.


For cups, he’ll take a new cup everytime he drinks and doesn’t wash after that. So after a few days, I’ll see lots of cups on the kitchentop.

Any solution to this problem ? I’ve tried buying boxes and train my husband to put into the box, but not successful.

On sunday I did the most drastic thing: I took 2 plastics bags, dump all his things in it and put one side. And I hid all the cups, so there is only 1 cup for each person. Unfortunately he wasn’t quite happy about and showed me a black face until today.

Sigh.

In fact, I didn't know there's a filter until one Delpine promoter came to our house for demonstration. She opened up our rainbow vaccum and show it to us. My colleague also didn't know till this promoter told her. Are you still using one now?

How abt ask him to dump all unwanted paper in just 1 box & ask ur kids (or yourself, if kid is not old enough) to transfer them into recycle bag once awhile? The table top in my room is an \"organised mess\" w small piles of \"to throw\" & \"to recycle\" & I only clear it when there is a critical mass.

Use paper napkins instead of tissue packs so that he can just top up w more the next day instead of leaving the finishing packs ard. That's what I do for DS1 as I find combining the various packs into 1 a hassle. :roll:

We hv a designated cup of our own for sweet beverages & a water bottle each for plain water which will b washed only at the end of the day. We just take the same bottle along if need to bring water out of the house.

oh gosh, ur hb is same as mine! And guess what? When the PT cleaner comes, soemtimes he will just dump EVERYTHING into the bomb shelter so now my bomb shelter is so packed its filled full to the door you cannot get the things inside.

Until now I have not found a effective way to train him.

Husband does help me, as I find it time wasting to bring my little baby to childcare every morning and come back again to do my laundry. Husband on the way to work can drop my baby there. Although sometimes I do go along together to childcare. For household, husband does help to do cook sometimes, change my baby and night routine sometimes.

I am thinking of irobot...since my baby attend childcare, seems that the floor is always with dust. Any robot to recommend? Wonder robot from china can be compatible for singapore hdb plugs? 220V..

Dh helps alot daily, fetching DS1 home from sch in evenings, bathe the kids at nite, washing dishes when we eat at home & throw rubbish etc, as my batteries r going flat by then.

We did tot of getting our previous cleaning co. back to spring clean but in the end decided to just DIY together a task at a time on some weekends. Great 4 bonding!

My sil mentioned that she is using a mini device that will run around in the house, not irobot, and it costs only 50 to 60 dollars.It looks like a ball and will go round and roll the dust into itself.You just have to change papers after that.


Anyone has used this before?She mentioned that the supplier is in macpherson area.
