      dicky:
DH brought DS to turtle museum @ Chinese Gdn. Lots of turtles and tortoise there, but not much species. From pictures taken, mostly abandoned terrapins. A few snake-head turtles (eeiieeee!), snapping turtles, pig-nosed turtles, box tortoises etc.... DS takes after my genes leh... interested in animals and nature....

My nephews and nieces in law will probably grumbled all the way, interested only in high-end entertainments like RWS... πŸ˜“ Dun mind going, but wait price dropped or promo price lah....

Me bugging DH to go snorkelling in Redang, or better still go whitewater rafting in Sabah come March 2011. DH says if go Sabah, a waste if din climb Mt Kinabalu. So I say, ON.... DH got a heart attack....

Now sounding out friends to go :celebrate:

Mount Kinabalu will be a real challenge, esp for the kids.
I went up to the peak 13 years back. Not easy.
      Actually quite dangerous also....

Thanks for the concern. We juz try-try, not a must to reach the peak. Go slow, DS still young but then we are getting old too...

BTW, Merry Christmas to all the mummies out there!!!

Finally School reopen. Wondering how to keep DS occupied. Soccer Camp now crowded with over 30 kids per camp, used to have less than 20 kids.

Sooner or later, holiday programmes will either get costier or quality drop 😞

Hi, thru patience I suppose as I have been on their wait list even before my child starts school :). RSS has remained my top choice as her caregiver lives just opp. Other than convenience, I am impressed by their academic excellence and how they push the kids to strive. Honestly, I shared the belief that we need to stress them in order to push them to reach their max potential especially true for my child who is quite lay-back! Academically, I think she is fine and should still have some potential to do better if she is less careless;( I believe your child is in RSS too? Which level and any complaints so far?

Hi CNS, my girl is in P1 next year so i have no information for you. We are going to start a new journey together except that yours is in higher level. I was looking forward to work together with Mr Chua but a pity he has left. I hope the new principal can continue to do as well.

Great to note that we have a new kid on board for P3. We had met the P of Maha Bodhi, and was also advised to wait for P3, so DS will still be in RSS year 2011. Hopefully our patience helps too....

Govt announce great year 2011, though seems no difference to working class except fatter bonus....

Happy New Year 2011 to all Parents :celebrate:
