Hi Pokemon, think in P1 the chinese is easier, but his killer is the comprehension. the maths paper is the problem solve. english no issue.

My DD did attend the creative writing class in term 2 & term 3. Didn’t really see much improvement in his composition.

        Hi noobie,

Is it the paper getting tougher. Does P2 allow the student to bring back the paper for parents to sign.

          noobie:

does anyone have the details of the new studentcare @ TVPS?? can the students go to the studentcare during school holidays too???? thanks.

          Noobie,

Didnt you get a letter from school via your kid about studentcare? Anyway, they have appointed City Community Services as the service provider. If you are interested, enrolment is at the school canteen from 9am-12pm on 9,11,14,15 and 27 Dec. Monthly fees is $240, studentcare is open during school holidays. Letters did mention you must bring along fotocopy of child bc, and both parents nric.

thanks Pokemon! my girl passed the letter to me only yesterday... & i wasn't sure if the studentcare is open during school holidays, also don't know what's the operating hours....

i was wondering if they will offer again to the p2 nxt year. I thought of letting my ds try it before deciding to send him to outside tuitn.

                Hello TVPS parents,

We are returning back to singapore from UK after 5 years and my son has been offered a place in P4 for 2011 in TVPS by MOE. He is academically strong boy. I would appreciate if TVPS parents can share their experience and suggest if we should go ahead with enrolling our son in TVPS. We are anxious as he needs to get adjusted to the new place and it would be really helpful if we get feedback about the school from parents.

                Thanks in advance.

you can pack the 2 maths activity books A and chinese activity book A. Do not have to bring all the books on 1st day of school as the form teachers will also inform your kids what to bring for day 2.

On my girl's 1st day of school, they gave her a \"To Bring\" book list and she can bring the required books on her 2nd day and 3rd day... 🙂
