      Hi!

I have two Nan Chiau School uniform, only the skirt, size: 28 and 30, to let go. Bought for my eldest DD last year September.

But, this year, she has changed to TNS. So, these two skirts cannot wear already. Too big for my DD2. These two skirts are brand new, size: 28 wore once or twice. And the size: 30, because I had washed it. Cannot refund.

Willing to let go at S$10 each. Thank you

        Hi all,

I remember during the orientation, one of the slides indicated that on Wed, its 130pm-630pm ie instead of ending the day earlier, the school starts later, so that ALL teachers get a chance to have a group meeting (something like that). Can any one recall??
Yes, school end time has been standardised to 6.30pm for all days instead of 6pm on Wed in the past. We were told during Orientation. This is a new change for 2011.

          Hi,

You can double check under the Parent Support Group book, page 34 if is still remains the same as last year.

Students are to be in school earlier by 15 mins for Silent reading.

          Mon,Tues,Wed,Thurs & Fri 12.45-6.30pm

          Wed 12.00pm - 6.00pm

What I understand after assembly they start their lessons at around 1.00pm under Mon - Fri exclude Wed.
          Their Recess at 3pm.

If is 1.30pm(Wed) reach school then 1.45 pm starts lessons .Cannot be so late lah.
1 Hrs lesson only then recess already?

          Then Mon,Tues, Thurs & Fri will assembly 2pm ? 2.15pm starts Lessons?
          :?

As I know that mostly all primay schools there's one day ends early every week. πŸ˜„

I jotted down the timing shown on the Orientation Day's slides; it differed from what was shown in the PSG handbook though. Here's what I copied from the slides that day:

Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri: 1pm - 6.30pm (seated in the hall by 12.45pm for silent reading)
          Wed: 1.30pm - 6.30pm (seated by 1.15pm)

By the way, can I ask if we hv submitted the form which indicate the gate we will pick our kids from? Hubby rem there's this form that was filled up on Orientation Day (but can't rem which gate) but I dun recall at all...[/quote]I don't rem there's such a form...

            Hi, everyone.

My DD will be Pri 1 next year. Would like to know whether any parent going to stay in school for the first 3 days during the recess times. Since, the school had already arranged to bring the food to each classes.

I was thinking they are not coming down, then what is the purpose of staying in the school.

I popped by last yr during recess & indeed, will not get to c the kids. So there is no pt to hang ard.

I will still go for 1st day (regardless can see him or not).

There's a security check. Nope. Nope. No chance. Anyway, first 3 days they stays in their own classroom during reccess, cannot see them at all.

Maybe , first day of school before assembly (Before first lesson) can go in, last year can, but this year do not know how it goes. :? 😞

Of course, I will still go to the school for the 1st two or three days. To let my dd2 feel comfortable.

On the first day she wore uniform but Sorry the rest of the days I really cannot remembered what she wore last year in Primary one.

I think wear unifrom at the moments till the teacher mention to ask them to wear PE attire the next day .Teachers will always remind them in advance if they need to wear PE attire.

As my girl is now in Primary 2, according to last year she wore PE attire on
Tues, Wed, & Fri. Uniform Mon & Thurs. Different class different. I go according to her last year latest timetable.

According to my dear Dd, she told me that the TimeTable will be only available on this Friday.

Just for added informations. For all Primary 2 students (Hope involving Primary 2 students only) that parents without the JOURNAL BOOK as unavailable at the moment from the Pacific Bookshop, are advise to go to the School Bookshop,to bring along the PINK ONLINE ORDERED FORMS to write down the name and class of your DD or DS. They will advise u where to write down, just bring the PINK FORM if you ordered through the website.

Once available they will then pass it to the form teacher. πŸ˜„
