My #2 is a super talkative boy. So far, he has not said anything abt being punished during assembly. Let me ask him today.
last year, my p1 dd was punished during the 1st month of school. she was on mc for the first 2 weeks of school and maybe not familiar with the rules. she learnt her lesson and obeyed the school rules from that day onward...where got give chance one!!Jennifer:
Dun scared him like that lah, teachers will give chance to P1 newbies
But when the Principal goes onto the stage, everyone better keep quiet (parents included hor)
My elder boy just shared that those who talked were not always punished. Sometimes only. Must be smart to observe the surrounding before opening the mouth to whisper or talk

Although my dd was a Junior prefect last year, but she was not in-charged of the classes so I can say what I like here...  It depends on how vigilant or how \"bossy\" the prefects-in-charge are. Mostly, they simply don't give chances cos ๆฐๅฎไธไปปไธๆ็ซ, so Jennifer is right, tell your kids to open their eyes bigger! :!:

Haha. That's why I said \"Mostly\"...as far as I know from my dd, her classmates who were posted to tend the classes were all quite \"chiak\" (hokkien for antagonistic?).

My dd's only order for the kids at her duty area was, \"Walk. Don't run.\" I asked her, is it \"WALK!! Don't RUN!!!\" or just \"Walk. Don't run.\" She said it's the latter. :faint:
