        Looks like there is no CA1 & 2 only SA1 and 2 for P1 - P5...unless it is not completely updated. πŸ˜‰

Don't think the SA1 and SA2 apply to P1/2 since they won't have exams.

Did not see any CA1 or CA2 as well :?

I guess parents have a lot of questions to ask about the new principal, new system, etc., and hence, the earlier date for PTM.

I don't see any PTM for P1 either.

For P2, only once a year? :scratchhead:

Maybe a complain session for those who can make use of it in the PTM. :!:

                  Hi Blissfulmum!

How were your boys' first day in the school? Did you get to speak to any of the teachers?
                  Hi Hi

Nope.. 😞 didn't get to speak to anyone 😞

DH said RMPS is even stricter than ZPS. The School like \"monster\" like that, the moment he dropped the kids... they got \"sucked\" into the school already... (the guard somewhat like hurried them in\"...

My maid went with DH this morning, say she saw many parents, don't even had chance to talk to the kids.. (tell them to behave or chk if they have everything...) kids are \"pushed\" in already...

Honestly, I wasn't quite happy with this leh... the guard just told my boys - \"GO to the parade square\"... GOSH, even WE the parents also don't know where is the parade square leh!!

I spoke to DS1 today, ask him how it is? he replied \"followed the crowd lor!\" HAIZ...

DS2 said it's gonna be a boring school BECAUSE Term 1 no swimming... LOL

Parents meeting on 10th Jan (P3) and 13th Jan (P5) (as per calendar) hope my queries will be answered by then lor......

Daddy and mommy of RMPS - wish me luck!

Maybe the new Principal have a lot to show us what she can bring to RMPS. Since she did not present in the P1 Oridentation (Nov 10), so now she is catching up with time.

Maybe you can help us \"bomb\" the questions on our behalf?

I spoke to my boy's form teacher, and she said that there would be one exam for P2 this year. However, the weightage may be different from last year. πŸ˜“ Hence, in a nutshell, it shouldn't be that different from last year, as our kids only had one exam, too.

This was sort of later \"confirmed\" when I spoke to Mrs Wong. She said that the P2s needed to be streamed, and hence, there should at least be SA2 to determine where the students will go to in P3.

Upgrading works for the school will commence earliest March, latest by June. Based on current schedule, the school will only go single session in 2014.

The school is trying out new things this year. Hence, the PTM was brought forward. PTMs will also be conducted in the classrooms where the respective classes are located.

For P1s, they actually have a Meet The Parents Session this Thursday from 4-5 pm. Parents are invited, and they will be brought to the classrooms, while the kids will be in the hall participating in telematch.

The overall impression of Mrs Wong is that she is a chatty person. She would tell you many stories or analogies just to bring across a point. :snooze: πŸ˜„ During orientation, the emphasis of her talk was on the well-being of the pupils (e.g. sleep early, have a well balanced diet, etc.) rather than on the results. To her, all these are pre-requisites to good results.
