First Day at Primary One 2011
-
So, parents, how was it today for the first day in school for your princes and princesses ?
-
DS seems excited so far but his mother has mistaken the reporting time
-
DS1 was quite nonchalant about going to school - managed to dig out that he was feeling a bit scared and yet excited.
Left him at the school entrance with a prefect to guide him to the assembly area and then went off. grandpa will pick him up after school - both parents back at workdesks today (well, we can't go into the school to observe, so may as well save our leave).
-
DS was also nonchalant until we went downstairs to wait for the school bus and it came 10 mintues late, he got worried...hah !
I went back to the school on my own after he board the bus. When I was there, managed to just caught a glimpse of him (back view) walking up to the second floor assembly hall....sob sob. Will be there in an hour's time to see him during recess. Mummy more excited than him...it's quite normal rite  -
My DD told me her tummy ache this morning. Think she is too excited for her first day. Did not get to talk to her after she board the school bus. Hope she is fine. Now on my way back to school to watch her at the tuck-shop!! Ai yo, I am so worry

-
Just found out this morning that dd's school uniform is too big for her. Can't believe I never let her try on all this time :stupid: Luckily the uniform seller is in school today and let us switch to a smaller size on the spot

Other than that everything seems ok so far. Now going back to see her in her recess

I also watched her as she walked up the stairs. She turned back and waved at me. I think I'll never forget that image

Daughter jumped out of bed excitedly this mornβ¦at 545am.
Her school hours are special today - from 830-12pm. She was so excited about washing up and changing to her uniform.
After leaving her in the hall, hubby & I went for breakfast. Then we picked her up. All her βAβ workbooks have been collected by her FT and so her school bag 2moro is almost empty except for school diaryβ¦very organized during dismissal too. -
Hi,
I think P1 kids are taken care very well I supposed. Just heard from DS and DD that they had to mentor P1 students in their school for 1 period and during recess time. Include accompany them to toilet
