Hi Mummies,

Any of your kids had Mrs Grace Lim (Mdm Chick Yuet Fun) as FT and Mr Liew for CL teacher ? TIA

BTW, son told me teacher will be starting with Cycles first (P5). So he will be learning โ€˜Human Reproductionโ€™ soon.

            Hi Everyone!

My ds is in P1 this year, just got the time table and i am a bit confused and thought if the mummies/daddies here could enlightened me. ๐Ÿ˜„

            1) If there is a PE lesson, do they wear the PE attire from beginning of day or change before the lesson?

            2) i presumed PE attire is required for HPE and PE1. what about HHE?

            3) For those with kid in P1, any clue if we are supposed to follow timetable now or to follow the initial distributed list (of what to bring for teacher for safekeeping).

            Stresszz...

              1. Yes. Any day with PE, wear PE attire to school. Not nec to change.
              2. HE is Health Education. For day with HE, if it is a non PE day, do not hv to put on PE attire.
              3. If new time table given, it should supercede any list/old timetable given.

              HTH!

              Enjoy your ds's P1. ๐Ÿ˜‰
About the >40 pupils per class issue, I think it is a result of pushing more pupils into the few top classes and making the mixed ability classes slightly smaller and hence more manageable for the teachers of these classes.

Think we will be able to confirm this when we receive the cohort class photos.

Really? Last year P3, my girl has 42, this year 41. 40+/- each class right? How many in your son's class?

                45.
my son must have got it wrong then. he told me 42 students and majority are boys; while in Twk9, I understand the majority are girls.

Could it also be there are more kids with the same overall score in the class, say no. 38,39,40,41 all scored the same?

Not likely. I heard that in the class, many students are transferees from other schools. These must be top students in their respective schools; in other words i believe there are a lot of \"dark horses\" (or crouching tigers) in the class.

P2 transferees from other schools to P3 in PH? Possibly, although my dd told me that all her P3 classmates were from P2 classes in PH. They shared with one another. It's not difficult to know cos majority of them were her ex-P1/P2 classmates. One of her CH2 classmates transferred out due to distance and I think her place should be filled up by another PH kid.
