Is the price in NTUC Finest more exp than the standard NTUC?
The only thing that I enjoy about this NTUC is ... can pay by Credit Card

Thanks for your informative post, Trapwithin. By the way, do you have any Science enrichment centres to recommend?

  Dd only P2 this year. But I heard Learning Lab is pretty good too. Some also recommend Mind Matters and Mind Stretchers.

Yes, happily enjoying my goldmine too. Told hubby no way am I willing to shift. It's a small and young estate and my neighbours are nice and helpful. We paid $348K and $20K upfront cash. Although I would have made a bundle selling now, no way will I let go because new flats are smaller, further and expensive too. Furthermore, I've waited so long for the lift upgrading.
My mom sold our flat in Toh Yi 8 yrs ago.. took us very long to get used to a new environment n now I totally regret cos DH wants to move into toh yi!!! the prices now are more than double the price we sold!! u are sitting on a goldmine Janet!!janet_lee88:
I am staying in Toh Yi Drive...bought this flat 13 years ago when first got married. Don't know anything about schools (newly weds don't think of this). It's within 2km of parents' place, so enjoyed $50K off the price of flat.
So happy my estate will be having lifts on every floor instead of lugging heavy packets of grocery across the long corridor. -

Check out this link on comfy's reply. We had a mini discussion on chinese storybooks.
I have never bought any CL storybooks for DD before. Maybe I should start buying for her. Any good or interesting books to recommend?Happy Mama:

Sad to say, it is true. There'll be no hanyupinyin for compre passages during exams. Although all my dd's CL storybooks have HYPY, I will let her practice with other schools' compre passages, or from assessment books frequently, just to make sure she doesn't rely too much on HYPY.
I recall owning only 1 CL storybook for myself, in my entire life. I bought it when I was in Pri 3, read a few pages and never ever finished the book!
