MoonFlower:

Just to share, i have my ds to only have his main 4 sub textbooks always in school bag. Most of them will be either under desk or locker. The teachers will allow them to take from locker if needed. Usually before June holidays they have to clear their desk and locker too and pack back again in Term3.
I figured out subsequently that they should only leave the files, activity books and exercise books in school (although one PV told my DD to leave one textbook, which happens to be the first one that she brought, under her desk), but still, some of the files and exercise books were brought back home again, which really puzzled me. Anyway, no big issue... will just clarify with each of the subject teacher.

Btw, for the GEP P4 classes, my DS said there won't be lockers provided...maybe becoz they are all put in the former Nanyang Kindergarten \"quarters\" , that's why.

Any1 knows about this? Also have they been given the diaries yet? Or under the new principal, some things have changed? :?

If there are no lockers, it's really going to be tiring for the kids bringing the stuff back and forth, considering already the building is a distance away...

I think the supplier told us 3 days of PE… We bought 2 tops and 3 skirts. By the way, do girls wear the skirt over their PE shorts even on days of PE? Heard from others that in the past, girls just wear shorts on the days when they have PE.
Yes, for girls need to wear a skirt over the PE shorts on PE days. I’m there when the teacher annouce this.
Oh, heard that some top students are in 3F. So most likely this might be one of the top class. 😄

it is a guessing game each year, for every level

            DS mentioned top 4 are 3E (?), 3F, 3H, 3I.
One of my friends' dd said 3K is a collage class. I thought there isn't any more collage class for P3 this year?

Another friend said her son in 3E and son math quite weak and didn't do too well for his exams for P2 (got hospitalized near to exam)... ???

My dd came back with her temp timetable, stating only 1 PE day a week?! Then another friend's dd told her mum 4 days? Kinda confusing... Last few years can wear shorts on days when they have PE. Hope they don't change the requirement to wear skirt over shorts... cos' my dd very scared being hot... 😄

Last year, DD started the year wearing skirts over PE shorts, as required by the school. But after several months, seeing her classmates not reprimanded for not wearing the skirt, she stopped wearing it over the shorts too.

My son’s form teacher told them PE on 4 days a week.

Girls to wear skirt over PE shorts…

There is also no more collage programme

We will find out more when we meet the teachers tomorrow…

The lockers r nt assigned yet. My dd got her lock back n the teacher removed the ziplock which it was in n posted on the blog to put the lock in again. As for the pe shirts, when I bought them, the lady told me 2 sets will be enough, nw, I’m not so sure anymore…
