i understand that SJIJ does not accept PV. hence if am not catholic, nor am i living in novena, there is no way i can apply under phase 2B?

to qualify for Phase 2B in your case, you can only go through the http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=420&start=0 route.

ok one more question. does anyone know if SJIJ is single session for everyone, even for the P1s?

In case you still need to know, SJIJ is not yet "full" single session. Like many, it is still Pri 1 & 2 in the afternoon, and the rest in the morning.

i'm sure. i am aiming for my daughter to get in there as well. either move to within 1km or obtain grassroots leadership priority - this will guarantee a place. every year, only about 20 or so go in via phase 2B simply because grassroots is the only option for that phase.

Hi all,


My 1st post in the forum after doing some of reading. I called SJIJ today to ask about the school open house and was informed there is none this year. Is this the norm for SJIJ?

I was keen to bring my son for such an event to allow him (as well as myself) to \"get-to-know\" the school to aid my decision.

Just wanted to get some confirmation since some admin staff are sometimes very un-informed.
