Hi Jennifer,

Good Morning. Have you tried out the route ?
I used a diff route this morn with son...we walked along the row of coffee shops at Toh Yi. Wanted to find a safe route for son to go to school by himself later part of this year.
I walked from the back gate to Toh Yi Dr via Blk 11, climbed the stairs to get to Lor Kismis, turn right into Toh Tuck Terr and reach Toh Tuck Rd, all within 15 mins. Sweaty by the time I reached the #77 bus stop. The slopes along Lor Kismis and Toh Tuck Terr are short and gentle, not too siong.

Sad to learn that #77 interval is 12 to 13 mins during morning peak hours and the earliest bus to leave the bus interchange is 6.12am. From the Toh Tuck bus stop to the bus stop nearest Beauty World is 5 mins, short walking distance to PH side gate. Need to get the arrival time to the bus stop quite accurate or else if miss the bus, wld be late for sch.

Think it wld be difficult for my boy to come home on his own via #77, there is no pedestrian crossing along Toh Tuck Rd that is near Signature Park. The only choice left wld be along Jln Jurong Kechil outside the new condo development.

I realised that there is a vacant sec sch along Toh Tuck Rd, think it is Bt Timah Sec Sch old site. The sch is besides the new condo development site The Beverly which is expected to complete in May 2013. Was thinking if PH is to go to a holding site to prepare the sch for single session and if the holding site is this sec sch, then it might not be too long since the condo completion is mid 2013.
Hey Jennifer,

We are curious to know how much nearer you are shifting to Pei Hwa.
Can walk to Bukit Timah market from new home ?

Think if I walk daily from new place to sch/mkt, I will lose my spare tyre very soon

We are moving to Signature Park (the blk nearer to the Toh Tuck exit).

Told my boy we wld try walking to sch first.

This morning my elder boy told me he recd an sms from sch that on every Wed, he needs to reach sch by 7am. He is so glad that we are moving nearer to his sch too.

Staying nearby really save a lot of time. More time more sleep = less stress ๐Ÿ˜‰
Yes...to a certain degree. Daughter is attending school in Toa Payoh.

Your observations are really good. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Although son would have finished P6 in 2012, I'm still curious where the holding site will be. Hope it doesn't affect the kids too much esp those in P6.

It used to be Toh Tuck Sec Sch then a lot of other schools use it as holding school after Toh Tuck Sec was closed down. They include ..

RGPS, Outram Institutions, Millienia Institutions, etc

Hee hee ๐Ÿ˜‰ now you know who is the REAL \"Di Tou Se\" :rubhands:

Hi Parents,

Anyone knows Mrs Jeanette Yeo ? Sheโ€™s my sonโ€™s Math teacher and also co-form teacher but donโ€™t see her in the school magazine. Would like to know what she looks like.
