Some teachers prefer to have privacy so will not disclose mobile number to parents.

Same here leh! last yr DD2's P1 FT and English teachers both gave us their mobile and when I called, they answered immediately ๐Ÿ˜„ this yr, the chinese teacher is the same but the FT has changed. FT never gives mobile even when someone's mother asked her.

              Hi

After reading abt the SwimSafers programme in the Straits Times today, I called the General Office. Good news ๐Ÿ˜„ The staff told me that there would be compulsory swimming lessons for P3 - so KSH is in this programme !

I've enrolled my DD2 in swimming lesson when she's in K2 but she didn't like the instructor and always seriously sick so I've stopped her lessons. Thinking of enrolling her in another swim school again last yr but difficult to find one near our house and suit our schedule. So next yr she can learn swimming in this programme - hopefully she's stronger and healthier next yr too.

Any parents with kids that have started in this programme? Wonder if they have already started the P3 last yr? Or they are only starting this yr? Forgot to ask the General Office just now and she couldn't tell me which swimming pool they're going to.

heard from ds that his classmate joined swimming since P1, they go to geylang east swimming complex. there was an option form distributed when they started P1 last year - the period when difft CCA distribute their forms to the students. not sure if this is part of the programme though.

So, I guess I need not to use email or phone call yet. I heard DD said their buddy is still with them until this Friday, wow, that's very thoughtful of the school to do this arrangement as my friend's DD school only has pri 2 buddy for 3 days... my friend said the blind leading the blind...
