So Jen, just let us know when is the house warming ok? Can assign php to be chaperone since he is the 'local snakehead'. And Trapwithin can be valet since he also knows the place so well :>.
We are moving to Signature Park (the blk nearer to the Toh Tuck exit).
Ok all arrows fired. Now I can rest, keke. -
Jennifer:

I think a similar qn was asked recently but I didn't see the answer.
Just kaypohing at some other sch threads and quite surprise to read that some schs will only accept students into certain CCA only after those students have demostrated proficiency beforehand.
I thought the purpose of CCA is to allow kids to gain new learning experience & to de-stress from studies? I guess I must sound really old fashioned saying this
.
On a personal note, not sure what ds wants to pick for CCA (the list is quite limited anyway) but whatever it is, I really hoped he doesn't choose competitive table tennis after what mrsbongz mentioned happened to her dh :nailbite: . -
Jennifer:
A \"makeover\" perhaps
  With today's technology ... high possible

It used to be Toh Tuck Sec Sch then a lot of other schools use it as holding school after Toh Tuck Sec was closed down. They include ..
RGPS, Outram Institutions, Millienia Institutions, etc -

Hiyo, now I feel bad for scaring u off.. my DH actually told me he will like to encourage DS to take up tabletennis yesterday.. to see whether he has 'talent the father had  '
I ask 'what abt your own experience, all the practising, n being banned fr taking any other ccas etc ??!'.. his reply ' I can't see that teacher around anymore, should b quite safe..' Does anyone know the coach's name?? -
Mrsbongz:
For competitive table tennis CCA, the coach is Mr Yu. By the way, for competitive table tennis, the kids will train every Mon, Wed and Fri in school and additional days at Clementi Sports Complex (with additional fee). It can be rather time consuming.markfch:
