I hope for the non competitive table tennis,the teacher will still put in effort to teach as well as the competitive ones right?[/quote]Hi San03, thanks alot for your kind reminder on the changes in the CCA timing My son wants to join Table Tennis (non-competitive) again this yr but the initial incorrect timing clashes with his supp class so he is sooo... disappointed. Luckily I happen to see your post, check the revised timetable and bingo! the revised timing fits him to a T :celebrate: . He is already asleep by now but will be soooo happy to know tmr that mommy has already registrated for him :imanangel: Now just hope that he will be accepted . Mommy is even more stressed than him!

Thanks again - oh btw, I am not sure if the table tennis training is good or siong, but from what I gather, the coach is responsible, my son improves a lot (from zero skill to now ok to spar with dh :lol: ) and most impt, LOVES the sports :love:

Oh yes, may I know if the kids are supposed to buy any assessment book for the supplementary lessons ?

Can someone advise me on this CLIP (Creative Thinking and Learning Through Innovation Programme)? My son in P5 got this slip to participate in this program on Fri 2-3pm. However, the slip said nothing on the content, organiser (by PH teachers or external vendors), duration (1 session or many sessions throughout the year?), is it a general 'how to be creative' kind of program or more specific/practical by subjects? etc.

Is it useful? Can kids drop out after going for a few lessons (if it is not a 1-off lesson)?

Sorry, I have no idea what CLIP is all about either...my son didn't show me anything from school regarding this. He's in P5 too.

Hi JRLam,

Heard from my gal that it’s a program previously for those under TTLT (those that didn’t get in to the gifted after the 2nd round). They have to build something during the program (1/2 year) also a lot of projects to do on and off. Lastly, there’s some knowledge of science being teach during the program.

My gal is interested but thinking of the many project puts her off.
