:welcome: I think kids at that age will make friends quickly. Just give them 1-2 more weeks.

Can someone advise me on this CLIP (Creative Thinking and Learning Through Innovation Programme)? My son in P5 got this slip to participate in this program on Fri 2-3pm. However, the slip said nothing on the content, organiser (by PH teachers or external vendors), duration (1 session or many sessions throughout the year?), is it a general 'how to be creative' kind of program or more specific/practical by subjects? etc.

Is it useful? Can kids drop out after going for a few lessons (if it is not a 1-off lesson)?

Since both of your darlings are in P6 (am I right?), can you pls advise me on this CLIP program? Is it good and worth investing the time? What does it teach, by whom, etc. :?

Is She Shy and Don't Speak up often?
May B she can start by Speaking to the Gals sitting Near to Her (Of Course Not During Lessons -la )
Start with Something General Like Home work, Which Banding Class U Go, Which CCA U Join, and \"Can I Join U for Recess?\" Kind of Stuff.

Anyway, She will Still Get to see Her Old Classmates during the Maths and CL Banding Class, I'm Sure.

I Find Kids Make Friends Easily, May B this is only the 1st Week, and She's Rather intimated by Being the Only Transferee to the Class.

There Will B More Opportunities to get to know her Classmates Better when they start to do Group Projects together.
My Gal has to Go to Each Other's Home to Complete the Project ....

Or If U R Really Worried About it, Dip your Finger in to Help ....
Get an Occasion to Invite them to Your Place perhaps for Chinese New Year, Birthday, ....
Or An Outing to Snow-City, East Coast Cycling, Watch the Latest Movie, ....

These R the Many Things that My Gal Enjoys for Outing with Her Pals ....

Supplementary Class is Compulsory - U Don't Get to Choose!

Anyway, Some of the Teachers take the Opportunity to Teach in the Class What They Could Not Complete During Lessons ....
So May Not B Advisable to Skip ....
Also A Lot Of Revision, So = FREE Tuition -la!

Hi Piezolbs, get yr dd to observe and idntify a few she may like to be close to, smile, ask if she can join her/dem for recess. And if chemistry is not there, check out a few others. In no time she may find someone or a few that she feels can clique better. Kids r v adaptable so no worries. Do chat casually with her regularly on classmates in her class. I usually know a number of her classmates names by a few weeks' time, but I hv to coax her into tellg me things sometimes

:celebrate: :celebrate:[/quote]Your gal in P4/5? Mine is in P4. If they are in the same class, I am very sure mine will be glad to befriend her. Mine was transfered from another school when she was in P2. I was worried too, but before I know it, she got friends. If mine can do it, so will yours.
