Friendly is 1 thing, now the trend is to engage pupils and not being fierce to pupils like the old sch of thot. In fact, my son very afraid of her! 😢

Is your son in P1 or P2 ? My son in fact even myself used to be very scared of her at the beginning since she looks so fierce and very strict. You try talking to her, she is actually a very nice lady and now we are like friends and my son likes her too. She is like lostbunny quoted 'Approachable and helpful'.

        Gd Day!

yup, so long as one doesn’t misbehave, there is nothing to be fearful of.

My son being in her class used to fear her as he got punished once for forgetting to bring the color pencils. He remembered from then on. We would see her in the school compound or outside and she would say hello,etc... and my son does not fear her now and he like her.

Was sharing with jsmum that my P4 girl has a very fierce teacher this year. Just hearing her name, the 1st thot is fierce. My P4 told me that when she was P3, they would hear her P4 ft scolding the students few doors away so they were terrified of her. But I was happy that she got her and was in fact thinking that a teacher like that would be perfect for my P3 son.

A funny incident happened on 1st day of school. A girl went to my P4 girl's class wrongly. The teacher had extra student and asked who went to the wrong class. The girl didn't dare to admit because she was scared of this teacher esp her reputation so she kept quiet about it probably thinking that she could get away with it.

So this teacher got everyone to stand up and called their name one by one. It came to a point that this girl's name was not called out. The teacher asked if the girl didn't admit because she was scared of her. The teacher went on to say that, I am not fierce, I am just born with a loud voice.

We found that comment really hilarious.

Son in P2E this year. Maybe I came from a girls' school when i was a student and not used to teachers \"raising voices\". Even as a mother, I don't do that. I strongly believe in communicating with my son.

Aiya, don't talk about her anymore since my son not in her house. Heng ah!

Sway ya this year, got a relief for the class? Wonder how is she? But sad to say the FT also ................ (don't say anymore :stupid:)
She was so super slow in her teaching. When I went to school to fetch my son, I made friends with parents of other classes and found out that my son's class is far, far behind. Like that how?

maybe helpme999 is referring to the CL class? the previous form teacher, Mdm Y, is taking almost all other subjects for 2E this year.

7788 - did you get my pm?
