As well as the reason why they didn't post up PSLE 2010 results in time etc. Cos she said she heard \"rumours\" thru KSparents that RMPS is not doing well, that's why didn't wanna show.. LOL...
Did Mrs Wong mention anything about benchmarking to other schools in the PSLE results? -

I'm surprised Radin Mas didn't do as well last year, as they have always had a reputation for their high standards and excellent results, especially under the leadership of the previous Principals. :shock:Blissfulmum:

So Mrs Wong ploughs through KSP.com forum, too? :scratchhead:
Oops, she's probably reading this too.... LOL
Well, personally, I would be glad if she is reading our conversation here.. at least, this provides her another channel to hear what parents feel.

Dear Parents
Just want to give everyone an update on the above. As mentioned, I've emailed their Operation Manager, Mr Paul Tan and had marked Mrs Wong on copy, last evening (after I return from the PTM).
Mrs Wong has responded to my email this morning which again I have shared her feedback on this forum earlier.
I was in fact, impressed with Mrs Wong's prompt response to this despite her busy schedule and it looks like she is taking feedback positively and act upon it QUICK.
I remembered reading her note (memo to parents, which DS had brought back), she said she is looking for POSTIVE feedback, positive was bold and highlighted. I was jokingly telling DH that it seems like she only wants positive feedback and we can forget abt the negative ones.. hahahaha....
Back to topic... Mr Paul Tan had called me earlier, and told me that he has spoken with the Book Shop Supervisor, Vincent. and confirmed that the school diary is in, and PE short (Size S) coming next week, and my boys' name tags already in but just that the staff there didn't really go seach for it when my helper was there this morning. Mr P Tan asked me to get my DS to see him tomorrow at his office and he will hand them the tag personally. Am grateful once again.
Mr P Tan also asked Vincent (the BS supervisor) to contact me directly, so that I could tell him what's outstanding and he will source for us ASAP.
Mr P Tan also reckon that Mrs Wong has seen the long Q outside the bookstore and actually wasn't quite happy with the situation and had ask them to resolve this ASAP.
Overall, I am quite happy with Mrs Wong's prompt action to my first feedback to RMPS and believe that she will bring RMPS to a greater height
Although I must admit that it was somewhat a \"painful\" experience to start a new year, in a new school. BUT it's comforting that at least, our voices are heard.

Attended the PTM yesterday and Mrs Wong had shared with us RMPS's results....
Science is a subject which is not easy to teach even through enrichment centere. I guess the best is to use internet to search the rersult or go to Science Centre more often to get answer.
Oh Science PSLE result not so good, like that HOD (Science) sure kanna question! :!: -

Blissfulmum,
The school diary is out? Can we ask the FT to order for the whole class? Guess we do not want our DS or DD go quene up during recess to get the diary. The diary opearting hour is indeed very short, like maybe 30-45 minutes & everyone rush like mad. -

:!: Is there a \"diary operating hour\"? :scratchhead:
If you were referring to the bookshop, as mentioned previously, the bookshop is open from 9 am to 4 pm to all students. The time it is open to parents/guardians is limited, but not to the students.
Since the diary is not something that is so essential that you need to get it now, why don't you wait till the queue dies down, and get your son to buy it himself? -

I went to the talk too! From what I know, I think it is the Science HOD last year will kenna. That one being introduced was not in school last year. Science exams are indeed getting more difficult.... Big big sigh.
