One way I taught my dd was to ask the question back at her as if we are having a normal conversation. They speak differently from how they write sometimes. In your case, if your son answered you back as \"Alex was well behaved towards his brother.\", you can ask him whether he thinks the person listening to his reply will know (or understand) about Alex's behaviour by the phrase \"well behaved\"?\" \"What other ways can you say (or write) instead of using 'well behaved'?\" He might realise that his answer might be too vague and derived the \"kind and helpful\" adjectives to describe Alex's behaviour. Make it such that he was the one who came out with the final answer, so the next time he does a similar question, he will think a little more in-depth. Practice makes perfect. Give him a high-5 if he is able to derive a better answer.

It is obviously, E3 is definitely a good home teacher of her children. I'm really envy your any comments. i feel powerless to teach my dd by myself. btw, many thanks for your dd's kindly help, my dd finished to find that pile of 'ss work book'.

From my encounter in KSP for the past one month, I find E3 very kind too... and of course a few of the other mummies too... 😄

For P2 no top 4 classes, so they are banded during CL. Maybe some classes will have moxie and some don't have.

FYI, the moxie list has been given out.

dd received it last week....is the 高级深广 list....i tot all classes are suppose to do the same...

Hee hee I know she got the list but have not look at them yet
I think the list is diff because last year certain classes do not have moxie.
If I am not wrong, the current P2 is split into 2 bands. For example, certain students in Rpt 1 will go to Rpt 2 and certain students from Rpt 2 will go to Rpt 1.

Actually I also have two options. Option One is to stick my big fat head into the ground and pretend that I didn't read all these. Option Two is to cut down on ds's piano playing time which is going to be difficult cos he likes to 'chute pattern' while playing the piano and that takes a lot of time.

Besides playing computer games, piano practising is the only other thing that he'll do automatically w/o prompting daily. That's why I always maintain that @ P1 we must relax cos P2 will bring its own set of problems to the table 😆
😉 maybe can reduce his time on computer games .. make it a weekend incentive 😉
He will definiitely protest ... :rotflmao:

Is there a 深广 Moxie list and a normal moxie list? :?

Oh...did she help her? I forgot to follow up with that. I was busy with my dd3's playgroup orientation for the past two days. Felt the empty nest syndrome liao now that all my girls are at school...hehe...

DS can sit still and do his work independently since k2 w/o much problem.

That is a very valueable skill that many parents hope their kids will have. Good on you makrfch. You can :boogie: :boogie: liao.

It was written as 深广 for my girl's 默写 list. 20 passages in all. The first one describes the fiery afternoon sun and a cloudless sky, humid weather and walking home with beads of perspiration trickling down the back. 😉

The whole set was given to her at the beginning of last year. 听写 is a separate list which I think should be the same across the board.

I've added the first passage in my last post. See whether it's the same. Hopefully my translation is accurate. Hehe...
