My son is in P2, he also has 4 PE lessons per week i was shocked when i saw the time table. I also have a daughter in P3, she told me the time table was temp but i read some of other classes blog there is one class even have PE every day and the teacher mentioned that the child needs to wear the PE attire everyday. It will be a waste of parents money who had bought extra school uniforms. I know of a parent who bought 5 sets of school uniform for his child and end up the child is having PE lesson everyday. Heard that the pupils will be getting their time table earliest this Fri. We shall see.

is it because the new principal was formerly PE teacher ? :evil: :roll: :siam:

Anyway, acc to one of the class blog, the reason for the increase in PE lesson is due to MOE's greater emphasis on PE. NYPS has received a lot of feedback fm parents and is still adjustg its time table. So, I am not buying any more uniforms till further notice by the sch.

how come got such disparity as some parents reported every day got PE ? that is at least 5 periods of PE ?

My fren, a former teacher, says normally schs will have a 2 day PE per wk or at most 3. That's what I remembers too.. So what rerally happened to NYPS this year? When I spoke to my dd's form teacher, she said its all under the PE dept and she's not too clear on why there's 4..
