Where did you keep that packet of yeast? Unused yeast must be kept in an airtight container in the freezer.

It's in little sachet form, so it's considered unopened right?

Haha, me no masterchief! :oops: Had a bad experience with Bake King's yeast, after that, no more yeast or other things from Bake King for me. I use the big packet (compressed type, think it's a blue packet), sometimes from PH, sometimes from Sun Lik.

My yeast was from PH lor, but kept for too long liao. Tomorrow will go PH to buy again.

That could be the reason. I keep my unused portion in the freezer and I don't buy those sachet type. I get those compressed type and transfer them into small containers and put them in the freezer!
