      qms:
Happy Mama, the shop is called Sweet Mate. The Ang Ku Kueh shop is located in Blk 1, while Sweet Mate is located in Blk 2.

      Thank you qms. πŸ™‚

I remembered this place in middle road - selling pineapple 'balls' - you remember we were 'talking' about this last year? its quite good, i enjoyed it too.

Happened to be around Middle Rd today and decided to check out LeCafe since so many ksp forummers raved about them. Tried their pineapple balls and they're good. However, found them a bit pricey tho but there's a lot of filling and the crust, nice and buttery, so I guess one pays for quality. Also tried their kueh bangkit... nice. Somehow, reminds me of how my grandma used to make them for me years ago

They are still taking orders but collection is on 1 and 2 Feb. So, for those still interested, better do it soon before they stop order taking. According to the staff there, some Singaporeans placed their orders 7 months ago :!:

if walk in they die die won't sell you???

Yes. It happened to me once.

They are really swamped with orders during festive season.

I think it's NOT a case of they don't or won't want to sell to us. I think it's because they have NONE left to sell to us. Most of the products they made are for booked/confirmed orders made like eons ago.

It happened to me last year. walk into shop and they said that they have none to sell to me. And this was like 2-3 weeks before CNY. (Actually Autumn, went there last year based on your rave recommendations).

So this year, decide to go 1 month before CNY to get my supplies. Bought 1 tub of 35 pcs to try and my supplies are running very low (i think only 5 pineapple bolas left). My girls and dh have been polishing them off. 😐 DD2 said that it's the best pineapple tart she's tasted  πŸ˜‰

I buy from Delcie's. It's organic and healthier and tastes heavenly!! Especially since we want to watch out waistline during CNY Delcie's the way to go! If you or your children have any dietary requirements, you can also indicate on the order form and they will take note!

BigDeal is having their promo, thought it'd be good to share with all of you. πŸ™‚

I was at Cedele today and the staff there told me that their tarts are excellent too! I wanted to try samples but they say no more stock. 😒 😒 😒 Samples will only come in a few days' time.
