Morning mummies!! Wow, this thread is moving faster than I can catch up!! Have been very busy with 2 sick kids!!


I enjoyed reading all the pages I had missed and was sharing with DH all the funny stuff shared by humorous MCS mummies!

Worriedparent74, my gal is in 1 gratitude as well but she has missed school for a whole week from a viral fever. So frankly, we have no idea what has been happening in class. But mrs Goh did ask me to go pick up her forms n class work on Friday. A lot of work to catch up on!

For gals going for art or dance audition, GOOD LUCK!!!

Subsequently, when the parents went for the Parents' Briefing, all the students' family photos were pinned up on the walls in the classroom, displaying their work. I think it's fantastic as the gals feel so proud when they see their work pinned up.l...

Tinkerbelle, thanks for telling me to email to Mdm Tan Li Kiang, she was so kind to call me back around 7pm that day but I was rushing down to fetch my DD so she said she will call me again the next day, but guess what? she called around 9pm that nite, she explained to my hubby that she will arrange an audition on ART to my DD on wed and see if she has talent to it then we decide to let DD join either Art Club or R Gym, so I will let DD to decide on her own.

Oh yes, when I did PV last year I saw the family photos pinned on the wall too, I felt very sweet when I saw it that time, now I’ll experience the real thing happens to my DD and me too.

Worriedparent74, good to hear your DD and my DD are from the same class of P1 Gratitude, and going to study care too, oh really? the teacher there are very fierce? Yes, maybe your DD has not been in childcare before, just give her some time to adjust coz everything is still new to her.

Preciousmoments, sorry to hear your DD was sick and away from school for a week but no worry, there’s not much thing she has missed, no spelling so far, just some simple Math homework on week 1 and 3 others worksheets from last week too, but all are very simple one and remember to bring Social Studies Activity on every Tue and Art Pack on Fri as my DD forgot to bring and she wrote on her helpmate the next day. Hope your DD will recover soon.

Funkymonkey, congrats to your DD joins Art Club, if my DD can join then they will be in the same CCA.

oh i forgot to ask, some says there’s a Lost and Found corner in Foyer, is it? my DD lost her water bottle again, second times already, sigh…i told her to go check with general office so i should tell her to go Foyer?

funkymonkey, oh no-no, she got invited to R Gym but she wants to join Art Club instead so the teacher in charge in Art Club gives her a trial on Wed and see if she has talent for it, still unsure if she can get in, we'll see.

DD1 likes to try different things for fun so she's been changing CCA practically every year. Tsk tsk. She's tried gym, dance, choir, speech and drama. This year, she wants to take a break from CCA. I'm ok with it as she wants to explore various activities and search for her strengths. But I did mention to her that in Sec sch, it's better to commit to 1 CCA.[/quote]So I guess yur DD is not countg on DSA?

OIC....Must give your DD some credit..At least she brought the maths WB home twice. Give her some time...maybe she's not used to packing the books she needs for homework yet. Might be a good idea for her to check all the books she needs for homework against her Helpmate each day. That way, definitely won't forget...
