Lakesidemum,
I recall that you mention your son is in Lcentral program. How do you find it so far? Which stage is he at now? I presume he’s at the JE branch? -

Oh yes, my boy is now at the final term of the Liftoff program. He is doing fine and his reading has improved. So far, his teacher has been very helpful and patient with him. Indeed, he is in JE branch. -
Hi lakesidemum,
Can you share who your boy’s teacher at Lcentral is?
Thanks! -
Went to visit the sch yesterday. The principle indeed not dat friendly didnt even walk us round we actually walk around ourselves. We miss taking note if the classrooms are air conditional? Can any mummies enlighten me?

Hi mummies

-my girl will turn 3 this yr n next yr will be N2. thinking of JCK N2. think in taman jurong. just wondering if it’s worth it sending her on a sch bus there since i stay near pioneer mrt? as in, is the syllabus good enough n environment good?
-does the curriculum offer chinese n if so, how long is the lesson?
-anyone knows when will registration start for N2?
appreciate any reply, thks! -
Hi Mummies.
I got a space for my gal in Nursery class ! Hurray!
Bec just happened the day I called, someone withdraw, so immediately I pop down to office to register my gal! Thank God!
A few questions to ask parents whose kids are in JCK.
1)\tIs kinderart fun? If we don’t enrol her now can she enrol say in 2nd half of the year?
2)\tSince we’ve missed Jan’s class. I read in earlier post that there were talks on phonics, Humm what’s this all about? They are running Jolly Phonics in their daily class? Cause I know that I have to pay extra for English reading material.
3)\tHow about the Speech & Drama class? My gal speaks mandarin at home so I think she’s fine with her spoken mandarin. Unless it about reading Mandarin then I think I’ll be interested.
Eh anyone kids in Nursery class in the 2nd session, like to know you if our kid happened to be in the same class

Hi..my son just completed his 3 years with JCK and is now in P1. Just to share with you that JCK is probably one of the better kindys in Jur area...as the sch prepares the kids well for P1. The English and Maths at K2 really prepared my son well for P1 now...in fact his P1 spelling now is \"easy\" for him...Hi mummies

The Principal - Mrs Lin is a very strict and warm lady, the teachers are generally quite dedicated and they always hv a way to \"tame\" the children...my son loved the sch so much that he did not want to go to P1 as he wanted to study in JCK \"forever\"...generally, i had no regrets sending my son...and in fact i pulled my daughter out (she's supposed to be K1 in 2011) and put her in childcare now since we've shifted away from jurong area...and i'm having 2nd thots now.....
The sch does offer chinese...but i'm not sure the # of hours they spent on chinese a week, u hv to ask the sch.
I stayed near gek poh previously and my children took sch bus to JCK...general i hv no complaints abt the sch as i find the sch environment genuinely warm and i saw how both my children enjoyed the sch tremendously.
Hope this helps.
