This thread has moved too fast for me. Anyway, just want to highlight a few replies. No time to reply to eveything.

First thing first, :congrats: a big congrats to Happy Mama! I am sure you are a real Happy Mama today as compared to the Sad Mama the other night, so looks like you don't have to borrow my cuties as pillows tonight! you have your own to use tonight!

About that shop in Bedok, no problem at all! :love: Glad to help out my cyber friends here! Happen to be there to get my specs adjusted, so thought might as well walk there to find out if the glass cutting board is still available.

LKVM, jtoh, autumnbronze, what are you waiting for? Think we have more than convinced you that a breadmachine is really worth the buy, right? Ask your husbands to come to this thread to see for themselves if they are still not convinced.

One question before I turn in for the night... Where can I get good bread knife? Or rather, any brand to recommend? Thank you

Can we use the prepacked bread mixes in the bread machines?

Never tried before, so cannot comment. Have been following the recipes provided in the recipes book that came with the machine or have been getting recipes from library books, so never tried those prepacked bread mix before.

Thought ksi mentioned something about a henkel knife or something like that? I suppose Tangs or Taka would be a good place to scout around for one?

Bought mine donkeys' years ago, forgot from where and at what price, don't even know what brand.
