machine kaput for 2 reasons...overused and underused. If you are overusing...take it that it is wear and tear.

A little bit over ripe is fine.[/quote]In fact over ripe banana is much better. For best tasting banana bread or cake, shld use banana that already have black spots. They are the sweetest and most flavorful.
