Having a mini popular is my DD1's passion....bookshelves are all her novels!! She told me she wants to have her own study with rows of books like the ones she sees in TV...I told her to wait till she gets her own big house..haha.

Thats good. encourage her to read... but mine is like \"I don't want to grow up I am a TOYS foR US kid\" like type.

            Hi Brenda,

I found the Learners books on idioms. Paid $7.40 each.

Son’s teacher recommended this ‘Grammar Handbook’ by Phyllis Chew. This book is for Secondary school but writer has written several assessment books for primary. You may want to take a look.

Is the idioms come in 3 books (Blue colour) and phrasal verbs (Green colour) in 2 books ? If yes then I think we were buying the same stuff.

You are talking about the learners publication.....Yes I have thoes too..each 5$+ KSP

Did you say it costs $5 each ? I paid $7 for each book (idioms set of 3) then. Just found the books in one corner of son's storybooks. Will have to start son to read and remember the idioms...hopefully some can stick in his head and be of use to spice up compos. Recently, his teacher has been getting the class to do situational writing though.
