WOAH, I backtrack a bit, slightly off the path. I don't really concentrate on spelling/tingxie. DS1 is well versed in my story of how I used to get 0 or 1 (I kid you not) for my spelling during kindy days. I just read to them like mad - DS2 was very grumpy last night becos I only did 3 storybooks with him (he wants 8 ). Pengz :faint:

She's slowly recognizing more words, both English and Chinese. Not to push her into the deep end, I only ask her to write those required by school. Today is her first spelling at kindy. Don't know how she fare.

As Mr Cane is used mainly by my hubby, I have Ms Wall at my disposal. My kids hate Ms Wall so it works for me

I have yet to receive the letter for this Sataurday's briefing and their name tag as well.. But my BLUR girl told me this Sat parents have to go to school. Their teacher will show us their art work which will display in their classroom. Which means we got to see how their classroom look like n where is located. (not sure is it true cos she always give me the wrong informations) I thought is like Orientation Day which all the parents will sit in the School Hall.

May I know the letter is from School or from their form teacher?

Just did. Also got a letter from school whether to subscribe to a Maths magazine. Seems like this class quite on the ball.

Yesterday, at instructions of DS, I had to give him his tingxie becos teacher made them write down in their diary to learn tingxie....this is hilarious.

Luckily I sent my DD to HYPY class last yr or else cannot imagine what will happen to her first upcoming ting xie on monday... Using HYPY to ting xie last time our time also not like that.

The timetable Ds1 brought back was half an A4 size - for their daily school. I would think other classes would have got that already. As for Saturday, I am guessing we should go to the hall to listen to talk...no other information (unless I never read carefully). Planning on following the crowd on that day.

Yup, i received the daily timetable on their 1st week of school already also have pasted on her handbook as well.
