Actually, i also think NUSH is good for my son as he's good in Science and Maths. Any idea how do i go about the DSA thing as i'm totally clueless? :?:Do you all know any IP Sec School
that donot emphasise a lot on Chinese? I can only think of NUS High School which is more on Science & Math.

KoalaMummy:
You can take a look at their website. I think since my girl now is only P5. So the DSA should be somewhere in 2012 April & it based mainly on their P5 results & P6 CA1 results. For NUSH, their science & math must be A*.So this year results is very important.

From what I know from the school Primary 6 results is< 91 marks to get a A*. I am not sure will it be the same for PSLE. -
KoalaMummy:
For DSA to NUSH, having a platinum for maths olympiad more or less \"secure\" a place, but it 's really not easy getting a platinum.shurley197323:

My P5 boy also has 3 supplementary classes in a week - 2 hours for HCL and 1 hour each for EL, SC & Maths. Even my P2 boy has 4 hours of supplementary classes weekly..... All compulsory.KoalaMummy:
mine has supplemenary classes on Mon, Tue and Thurs. Fri is CCA. So he only gets to come home early on Wed. so poor thing...

OMG, supplementary 3x a week ? I thought 2x a week is already less time spent on revision. -
