Interesting to know that the P1 results will determine the class for P2. Do you know how the grouping is done? I mean is it base on final results or does the sch look at their capability on individual subjects and group them accordingly?

last year had several tests, Alt Assessment 1, Mid year test, Common test 2, Alt Assessment 2 & Year end test (If I'm not wrong).

Year end result will determine the P2 class and as well as Edusave / School prize award.

Yqyq, how does SQ grade the P1 at the end of the academic year?

The principal change?Any teachers quit? or transfer? i wanna know especially the upper primary teaching the p6 one.I graduate from this school 2 yrs ago.

So far for lower primary, they based on final results...maybe some different criteria for upper primary.

Received memo from the principal today (in the purple file). The weighting for CT, AA, SA, and SA + format are provided. P1 do not have scores except for SA2. P2 onwards will have different weightage.

:? Nothing that I know of. The first letter from the new principal mentioned about teachers that got transferred and welcome couple of new teachers. Anything you know that you can share?

O den who is your child’s teacher? i see if i know them? btw most of your kids are at p1,p2? any p5 and p6? coz last time i remember some teachers whom had taught me.I wonder if they are in school?

who are the teachers that have left? i remember those teacher whom took extra efforts to help me in maths coz i am not good in maths i keep failing i remember i score 20/100 yet my maths teacher had never give up on me.That time i felt that i cannot make it to Psle

Glad to hear about teachers taking the extra effort to help you on maths. I am sure you did well in PSLE. Are you still schooling? Why dun you call the school office to check if these teachers are still teaching in SQ and pay them a visit to thank them personally?
