The motor or focus servo is not found in entry model. Let's say Nikon 3100 could have auto focus works on AFS lens but not AF lens

Even though they are coming out with more AFS lenses nowadays, the price is a put off. Cheap body, expensive lenses, I rather it to be the other way round. Am thinking of selling off my D60 now but it's a hassle too. Haiz. -

I got the 3-fold lens hence not so bulky but a little heavy.... But DH says the trade off is worth it coz 18-55 is just so insufficient.

Yeah, the 18-55 is a little limiting. Iām happy with my 18-105. I figured the 18-200 would be too heavy for me to carry around, especially for holidays.

Yes, 18-105 is very good too. At least you are carrying a lighter \"rock\" in front of you, than me.
