for 4 H2 and 1 H1, GPA> or = 3.6

So is the B4 for HCL based on school exam or O level result ?

but the tigthening promo criteria i mentioned is for end of sec2.
i may not have any info for end of sec4 unless the p speaks to the whole school if there's any changes.

This is a good question but I don't know. I think the students should ask their teachers. I think is abit harsh that if the student don't get b4, they won't be allowed to do 4H2. Some students can get A1 for all subjects but C5 for chinese.

That's (%distinction) less than RGS....unbelievable. A non-SAP school turning the tables on a SAP school.

Ever since the decision to remove Chinese from the computation of A level points for university entry, there's just no more motivation for students to excel in CL. I really agree with what RV's principal said in zaobao:

That is why I also say in a previous post in this thread. I think it is more of attitude. Balancing isn't quite the issue here as we will expect most of the brightest students to do well in every subjects that they do.
