          gam xia jtoh! that's y lor..was so worried witht the height last fri..so afraid it would overflow the baking tin!!
          the s's recipe stated 1.5 tsp for yeast..guessed that could be the reason.
          btw, how many days can we keep a loaf of bread? maxi 2 days? we still hv 2 more pieces left cos we skipped breakfast over the wkends πŸ‘…

                Best eaten within 2 days because there's no preservatives in it.

                twinklejoy, your loaf is very tall. It's more vertical than horizontal. Is that the shape of the Severin loaf as opposed to the horizontal Z loaf?

                      yup! Severin is vertical. can slice at most, 8-9 pieces/loaf depending on my unsteady poor slicing skill πŸ˜„

                        I thought it was vertical too. It's horizontal but mini, almost cubic. The pan is the shape of the loaves you see we baked.
