Okie, just want to share that the lady promoter at Tangs was very nice.

She recommended this bread making recipe book to me, saying that once I become an old hand at it, can buy this book. The author has tried bread making recipes on machines with 3 different types of capacity - small, medium and large and provided recipes for that. So she said I can use the recipes intended for small capacity when I use the z machine.

I found a link with the pix and some details of the book:

Thanks Autumn.. the book looks very good :celebrate:

        :thankyou: Autumnbronze for sharing πŸ˜‰

Oops, then I think I shall leave that question to the experts. For me, I use my Omega.

I use Anlene milk powder πŸ˜‰

                Hi friends,

Am going to attempt whole meal bread.

Just need some recommendations. The recipe calls for dry milk. What shd I use?? I do not buy powdered milk.

                Many thanks πŸ˜„

I just bought a can of powdered milk from the supermarket. Can't remember the brand. It's something the family can drink.

I think, you don't need to use dry milk or milk powder πŸ˜„ But substitute part of water with any fresh milk πŸ˜„

I thought of trying wholemeal bread too, but I will be going out this afternoon. Maybe I will bake early evening, but I heard baking wholemeal can be quite challenging. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

                    Hi autumnbronze,
                    you can try using freshmilk.
I replaced water to freshmilk for my raisin bread, based on the recipe.
if I didn't remember wrongly, the Severin has wholemeal recipe. if you can wait, I'll pm you tonight. all measurement are in grams and ml for flour and water.
