Thermal pot

Happy Mama:
Sorry, no idea, saw the ad in Friday's Straits Times.25hourmaid:
BTW, for those who are interested. Carrefour is having a sale for the 6-litre Endo pot, at $69.90.
25hourmaid, do you have any idea how long the sale will last? I don't like to go to town on weekends because it's exceptionally crowded and sure cannot find parking. Wonder if Endo brand has smaller capacity. 6 litres is too much for my small family.

I think the smallest size available in the market is the 2.5litres size, think brand is Endo if I am not wrong.
Wow 25hourmaid, thanks! You sure know your stuff! Hehe!

25hourmaid, I have just returned from my mini survey at Taka.
1) Tiger Thermal Magic Pot, 5.2 litres usual price S$478, now S$299. Plus they give a set of Endo pots. Very good bargain.
2) ENDO 1.8 litres S$39
3) ENDO 2.5 litres S$49.
Cannot find the 4.5 litres pot. By the way, I realised ENDO’s outer shell is made of plastic whereas Tiger’s is stainless steel, and the feel of the pot is different too. I wonder if the effects are the same.
Has anyone tried ENDO? How is the performance? Very great difference in the price, but if the performance varies only slightly, then no harm getting ENDO to try out first.
Gosh, I cannot believe I am becoming an aunty now. Walking around the Kitchen Utencils section, comparing prices and sizes!! :!: :!: -

I have an Endo 6litre, came free with some 'stamp' promotion from Carrefour donkeys years ago and I am very happy with Endo's performance so far. I don't use it on a daily basis, but use it to bring food that needs to keep warm to pot luck parties and so far, am very happy with its performance. :celebrate: You might want to give Endo a try since there is quite a bit of difference in price between Endo and Tiger.
Happy Mama:
No, no auntie, but smart and loving mummy browsing the Kitchen Utensils section out of love for her family! :celebrate: I am an auntie in that department too! :love:Gosh, I cannot believe I am becoming an aunty now. Walking around the Kitchen Utencils section, comparing prices and sizes!! :!: :!:

Yes I think if I'm really tempted to get it, I will buy the ENDO just to try out. No point spending too much on Tiger, otherwise it will end up a white \"TIGER\". Hehehe!Happy Mama:

Hi!!! hope you can help me… it’s my first time to use my brand new Thermos Shuttlechef and I accidentally "mildly" bumped it with a bowl. It made a big dent in the outer pot and had a little dent inside. I’m surprised how easily it got damaged. I am making my first soup now, and I’m so alarmed that I can feel the heat on the dented part… seems the heat is escaping through the dent. Is there any way I can have this repaired? Any suggestions?
=( I’ve never encountered any article on google which stated the same problem… I don’t know if it was a product defect or something… Thank you very much!
