      Assembly in courtyard on Mon.
d principal briefed just last week.
Couldn't hv change course so soon.
Maybe ur DD n classmates thot sama sama in class like other days of d week.

I reminded her on Monday to go down for assembly after she put her bag in the classroom leh, but maybe the rest of the students in her class saw nobody went down, so .. I also met a neighbour's boy in P4. He told me his class stayed in the classroom on Monday too!? Weird that there is no PA announcement to remind students to go to courtyard or basketball court for assembly?!

MommyNy, U are right. DS confirmed that there was no assembly at basketball court this Mon as there was no announcement :? . I assume assembly will resume next Mon.

          Hi MommyNg & Atan

I send my DS1 to school every day. So far they do have assembly in basket ball court every Monday (today included). By the time DS1 reaches school ard 6:50 - 7:00am, the track is quite full of kids.

P mentioned during MTP last Sat that they allow kids to assemble in classrooms on Tue-Fri to save time & lessons can start promptly at 7:30.

                hi mickeyhmh,

I'm quite sure at least for my dd's class, they did not go to basketball court for assembly last Monday (I also did not see a single student in the basketball court last Monday at around 7.10 am last Monday). I personally saw my dd walking up the stairs to her classroom last Monday. However, this Monday, they all had assembly at the basketball court. Perhaps for some reasons, assembly wasn't held last Monday.

                  Hi MommyNg

 paiseh. Just clarified with my DS1 this morning. Seems they were SUPPOSED to have assembly at bb court last Mon. However, at around 7:05, the kids who were already there were asked to go to back to their classrooms as the weather was starting to turn too cold. Looks like they will be doing that whenever they anticipate rain or bad weather on Mondays.

as confirmed with my boy - they are supposed to have morning assembly at the basketball court every monday morning but this depends on the weather. for all other days, they are to report directly to class. additionally, all students should be in school before 7.20am and will be considered late for school only after 7.30am - P wants classes to start on the dot at 7.30am rather than have to use up valuable time to wait for students to disperse from the basketball court and back to the classroom - hence morning assembly is only done once a week - on mondays.
