Actually it depends a lot on parents. Enrichment Centres can do a lot, but if parents do not go through the material with them, the outsome will not be as good.I read from this forum that TLL has Science which can boost grades to A*.
That's amazing but it's proven.
For example, when my dd went for her CL class in K1, we took it easy and let her enjoy the classes. At the end of the year, we discovered she forgot majority of the words learnt. In K2, we pay more attention and go through with her once after her classes, she was able to remember more words in this manner.
That's why, I always stress on parents involvement because the impact is huge. Thus there are also some that finds TLL not able to produce the results that they are looking for. -

Parents have to be involved unless the child is proactive & mature to follow up by reading.

That's one of the top neighbourhood school. Not surprising ... somehow drilling still helps to produce results. Not towards to top percentile though. -

A friend who has 3 kids in that school (she has 4 children) told me her neighbour has a son burnt out at P6.
